In keeping up with my attempted promise I am here again to post another comment. So here it goes.
Today my in-laws are coming for a visit and it always seems to get a little more stressful as the minutes tick on by, but for some reason I really don't feel like putting clean sheets on the bed or sprucing up the bathrooms. Is that so bad? Yup it is b/c somehow I have been made to feel that if I don't clean up before they get here I am not good enough for their son. Anyway, here it is 25 yrs later and I still feel that way.
MIL always brings food with her and she stuffs my refrigerator with things she may or may not want and then I have to decide if I am really going to use the food or not. Sometimes she will call and ask if there is anything I would like and sometimes she doesn't. It is almost like russian roulette when they come to town.
We never fight b/c I don't like confrontation and it never works anyway. On the other hand they really splurge on our kids and I know they love us all.
Well enough of the in-laws.
I am tired and have to work a 4hr shift tonight so I guess I better move on to something more productive.
Have a great day all and I'll probably see you tomorrow unless I don't get away from the In-laws.....:)
