my day after working all night

After working a 12 hr shift I have a doctors appt. at 9:00 am, so I go home take a shower and then go off to my appt.    After my appt. I come home to see what my daughter is up to, who by the way is in college, and she's having a bowl of cereal.  The time is now 10:45am,  I said that I would have taken her to lunch but since she had a bowl of cereal I figured she would have said "no that's ok".   Well that didn't happen,  instead we went shopping for school stuff for her and went to lunch anyway.   Well to make this long blog short it is now 3:26 pm and I still have not slept.    I guess I'll be going to bed at 7pm instead of my usual 11pm.   

For all of you out there who have experienced some of this please blog back I would love to hear your stories.

Life in your 50's is great isn't it?   I never could have done this in HS or college......Hummph
